LINDA BROCKINTON

Linda began playing the mountain dulcimer in 1988 and started teaching a couple years later. She also plays flute, harp, guitar and bodhran. She plays classical guitar-like style on the dulcimer which lends itself well to her quiet, relaxing concerts. She has received numerous awards and in 2001 won the National Mt. Dulcimer Championship, the only woman in 30 years to accomplish this. She lives in Arkansas.

MARY PARK

Ever since Mary first learned to play the mountain dulcimer and autoharp she has been sharing her knowledge with students from ages eight to eighty. To this end, she has written a comprehensive mountain dulcimer instruction book and writes a column for autoharp beginners in the Autoharp Quarterly magazine. Her philosophy of "It's never too late," and "It's got to be fun" have kept Mary and her students coming back for more. She lives in Southern Wisconsin.

DOUG BERCH

Doug is a masterful player of both the mountain and hammered dulcimer. He also skillfully plays clawhammer banjo, tinwhistle, harmonium and other instruments. He has been performing and teaching nationally since the 1970's. In 1983 Doug took first place in both The National Mountain Dulcimer AND the National Hammered Dulcimer Championship in Winfield, Kansas. Doug is dynamic and entertaining, builds fine dulcimers, and lives in MI.

ROSS SUTTER

Ross performs on an assortment of folk instruments ranging from dulcimer to accordion to bodhran. He has shared music regularly with children and has been doing residencies for 21 years in schools. He has traveled extensively in Europe and North America collecting music and performing at folk clubs and festivals.
